Today,  I woke with a cold. I had hoped the sore throat was just due to dehydration from flying.  I did discover that half an hour in the hotel pool sucked away the fever. Now I’m left with mainly sniffles. It’s evolving fast so maybe will be over and done asap.

The pictures for today all came from within two blocks of our hotel. There’s a partial antique wall...some kind of fortress ruin. It’s got office buildings butted up against its sides.

I wanted to enter the church but it looked like they had something going on and didn’t want to interrupt. On the way back from dinner, we noticed another the opposite direction so I’m going to check it out tomorrow.

For dinner tonight, we found out the same brewery owning the restaurant we ate at last night, has a BrauHaus around the corner. William, being a beer lover, couldn’t pass up the chance to visit a beer hall. It’s hard to see in the picture but all the walls are glass. The food was delicious. We found out they serve a beer and coke mix here and tried one. It was interesting. Sweet. Neither of us felt like we’d want one every day.
