Hey! I applied for a job with the Film Arts Foundation. It's one of those where I meet the requirements but because I've never done that as a J-O-B before and it would require a move to California, I doubted I'd ever hear from them. Today I recieved an email. Hopefully should hear by the weekend if I need to make a trip for an interview. Cool. I would LOVE to work in a creative environment.
I'm going to meet family for lunch today. I'm glad. The past several times my aunt and uncle have been in town, I had to work and couldn't go with them. The additional plus is we're going to my favorite Chinese restaurant. I know it'll be an enjoyable lunch.
Today I'm in such a work mode, I'm not diving into writing until later. I've got some major revisions to do on the first two chapters of Shades of Gray. The additions are worked through in my head pretty well. I want to put myself in a writing box when I get into it so there's no interruptions. I'm looking at it as the reward I get for doing all the housework, working my business and other miscellaneous time-sucking busy work nagging at me this morning.
Speaking of which, I need to get in the car and go have something notarized. Too bad I can't do my own huh? Grin. |
