I did a lot of revision today on the worldbuilding chapter and still hate the thing. It almost seems as though it's getting worse instead of better. So I sent it off to a couple of crit partners in hopes they'll see something I don't. Maybe I'm looking at it too closely.
Just finished watching Scifi's Dark Kingdom. Pretty generic fantasy story but I enjoyed the lounging time with the cat anyway. Gotta love naked men bathing in dragon blood (ewww) and meteors that make women horny. LOL! It sure seemed to me like every character, male and female, were so arrogant. I will check out tomorrow's installment since I don't work until late. Yeah, doing more overtime.
I ended up with $50 to spend at tower records online. Yay! I have some emastered AD/DC and Led Zepplin coming in. Then had enough to buy a DVD of Strange Frequency vol. 2 also. Cool.
I really don't have much else to report on, having spent most of the day doing laundry and working on that chapter revision. I did manage to take a short nap so the vampire shift won't be all bad tonight. Usually isn't.
The news for my stepdad is good. They're back and it looks like surgery isn't going to be necessary. Guess all the zapping and chemicals worked for him. He sure sounds good on the phone. My family is pretty thankful. I certainly am. |
